Reliable in wet environments: The Vetus RULAG rubber bearing guides your propeller shaft precisely and quietly in the stern tube – lubricated solely by the surrounding water. The robust brass casing ensures a firm fit and long service life, even with continuous contact with saltwater.
Tip: When installing, ensure that sufficient water flow through the stern tube is guaranteed so that the bearing always remains lubricated. For lighter construction and easier replacement, Vetus also offers RULAG bearings with a phenolic resin outer casing – these do not corrode and are even easier to replace.
