Reliable storage of the propeller shaft directly in the stern tube: The Vetus rubber bearing type RL guides your propeller shaft precisely and quietly – lubricated exclusively by the flowing water. The reinforced phenolic resin jacket makes it lighter than conventional bronze bearings, does not rust, and can be quickly replaced if necessary.
Tip: When installing, ensure that the water supply to the bearing is always guaranteed – dry running will damage the rubber guide. Vetus also offers the bearing for shaft diameters from Ø 20 mm to Ø 100 mm (as well as inch sizes 1″ to 4″) if you need a different shaft size.
