Reliable shaft guidance in the stern tube – without corrosion, without unnecessary weight. The Vetus rubber bearing type RL combines a reinforced phenolic resin casing with a rubber lining on the inside and is designed for continuous use in water-lubricated operation. It is suitable for a shaft diameter of 50 mm and is inserted directly into a stern tube with an inner diameter of 70 mm.
Tip: When installing, ensure that the longitudinal grooves of the rubber lining are completely exposed so that the cooling water can circulate freely – this protects both the bearing and the shaft.
