The plastic casing makes the bearing lighter than classic bronze bearings and is particularly easy to replace if necessary.
When installing, ensure that the water supply for lubricating the bearing is always guaranteed – a dry-running rubber bearing wears out quickly. The longitudinal grooves in the rubber must be clear for water flow.
