Low-maintenance shaft bearing for use in the stern tube: The Vetus rubber bearing type RL combines a robust outer casing made of reinforced phenolic resin with a rubberized bearing guide inside – water-lubricated, corrosion-free, and changed in no time. Ideal wherever a lightweight, durable bearing is required that neither rusts nor needs extensive maintenance.
Tip: When pressing the bearing in, lightly moisten the inner surface of the stern tube and the outer casing with soapy water – this significantly facilitates assembly without affecting the fit.
