Solid shaft bearing without corrosion risk: This water-lubricated Vetus rubber bearing with a reinforced phenolic resin outer casing reliably guides the propeller shaft in the stern tube. The phenolic resin casing is lighter than metal, does not rust, and can be replaced quickly if necessary.
Tip: When installing, ensure that the bearing is seated completely and evenly in the stern tube. Vetus recommends checking the rubber grooves for sufficient water passage – especially at low speeds, enough water must flow through for lubrication.
