Perfect alignment of the engine and propeller shaft is hardly achievable on a boat – the Vetus UNIFLEX13 elegantly solves this problem. The elastic coupling compensates for angular misalignment of up to 2° between the shaft and the gearbox and actively centers the shaft. This makes your drivetrain run more smoothly, protects the bearings, and significantly simplifies installation.

Tip: Before installation, check whether the actual angular misalignment of your system remains below 2° – and if in doubt, adjust the maximum shaft speed accordingly to avoid overloading the coupling.
