If you notice too late that your cooling water has failed, the exhaust hose can be damaged within minutes. The Vetus sensor type XHSH monitors the temperature directly in the exhaust hose and sounds an alarm, both acoustically and visually, before anything serious happens.

Tip: The temperature sensor and alarm display must be ordered separately - plan for both components when installing. If you have two engines on board, a single alarm display is sufficient for both sensors.
