When something on board absolutely has to hold, Tikalflex Contact 12 is your adhesive of choice. This MS polymer adhesive bonds wood, metal, and many plastics without shrinking, while remaining permanently elastic and vibration-damping – just as reliably underwater as above the waterline. Once cured, the bond can be sanded, overpainted, and permanently withstands the rigors of life on board.
Tip: Carefully degrease and roughen surfaces before bonding. The skin formation time is only 10–15 minutes – so position and fix parts quickly. For underwater applications, a clean, dry substrate is recommended before immersion.
