If teak decks, cork decks, or synthetic deck coverings are to be permanently and movement-tolerantly seated on the ship's deck, TLB Flex is the right choice. Tikal's one-component MS hybrid adhesive bonds deck coverings to GRP, aluminum, and steel decks without a primer – and remains permanently elastic after curing, so that it easily accommodates vibrations, temperature fluctuations, and hull movement.
Tip: Carefully degrease the substrate and the back of the covering before bonding. Maintain a processing temperature of 10 °C to 35 °C – under cool conditions, the curing time will increase accordingly.
