Reliably protect your Yamaha outboard from corrosion: This zinc anode from Tecnoseal precisely replaces the original anode (OEM No. 688-45251-01) on 60, 85, and 115 HP Yamaha engines. As a sacrificial anode, it electrochemically sacrifices itself so that the driveshaft, casing, and other metal parts of your engine remain undamaged.

Tip: When installing, lightly clean and sand the contact surface on the engine so that the anode has full electrical contact – this is the only way it can provide its protection. For year-round operation in saltwater, check the condition of the anode every three months.
