Reliably protect your Yamaha outboard from corrosion: This Tecnoseal zinc anode is precisely manufactured for Yamaha 6- and 8-hp engines and replaces the original sacrificial anode (OEM reference 6G1-45251-02). It sacrifices itself in saltwater so your engine block and gear casing don't have to.

Tip: Zinc anodes are the right choice for salt and brackish water. In freshwater, magnesium anodes are recommended instead for optimal cathodic protection.
