The Tecnoseal zinc anode sits in the cooling water channel and sacrifices itself so that the engine block, heat exchanger, and cooling channels remain intact.

Tip: Check the anode at the latest during seasonal maintenance – if more than 50% is corroded, replace it immediately. When screwing it in, check the thread and sealing surface for deposits and, if necessary, seal with fresh Teflon tape.
