Aluminum sacrificial anodes offer the decisive advantage over zinc anodes that they provide optimal protection in all waters – especially where zinc becomes too passive.

Tip: Never paint anodes or cover them with antifouling – they must have direct contact with the water to be effective. When installing, ensure clean, bare metal surfaces at the attachment point to ensure good electrical conductivity.
