Saltwater and electrolysis continuously corrode metals below the waterline – the zinc anode rod from Steyr Motors protects your engine by acting as a sacrificial anode, attracting corrosion to itself. The original spare part ensures that valuable components such as the heat exchanger and engine block are spared.

Tip: Check the zinc anode rod at every major inspection and replace it at the latest when it has corroded down to about half its original volume – do not wait until it is completely consumed.
