When it comes to low friction and longevity, the Seldén BBB gets the job done. This ball-bearing single-sheave block is designed for dynamic loads on board and runs with extremely low friction thanks to stainless steel balls with acetal spacers. For lashing, it can be flexibly integrated into halyards, sheets, or steering systems.
When lashing, make sure that the knot (e.g., Larks-Head or eye splice) lies evenly on both sides of the block casing so that the load is introduced centrally and the specified working load can be fully utilized.
