No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that provides a completely watertight seal for your propeller shaft. It reliably compensates for misalignment, vibrations, and the axial fore and aft movement caused by propeller thrust – with no dripping water in the bilge.

Tip: Correct bellows pre-tensioning is crucial for proper function. After installation, check the compression of the bellows and ensure that the rotor's set screws are resting on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first few hours of operation, recheck all hose clamps for a secure fit.
