No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that completely watertight seals your propeller shaft passage. It reliably compensates for misalignments, vibrations, and the axial forward and backward movement caused by propeller thrust – with no dripping water in the bilge.

Tip: Correct bellows pre-tensioning is crucial for flawless function. After installation, check the bellows compression and ensure that the rotor set screws are seated on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first few hours of operation, recheck all hose clamps for a tight fit.
