No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that seals your propeller shaft passage absolutely watertight. It reliably compensates for misalignments, vibrations, and the axial forward and backward movement caused by propeller thrust – with no dripping water in the bilge.

Tip: The correct preload of the bellows is crucial for proper function. After installation, check the compression of the bellows and ensure that the set screws of the rotor rest on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first few hours of operation, recheck all hose clamps for a secure fit.
