No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that absolutely watertight seals your propeller shaft passage. It reliably compensates for misalignments, vibrations, and the axial fore-and-aft movement due to propeller thrust – without any dripping water in the bilge.

Tip: The correct preload of the bellows is crucial for perfect function. After installation, check the compression of the bellows and ensure that the set screws of the rotor rest on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first hours of operation, recheck all hose clamps for a tight fit.
