No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that completely watertight seals your propeller shaft passage. It reliably compensates for misalignments, vibrations, and the axial fore and aft movement caused by propeller thrust – with no drip water in the bilge.

Tip: Correct bellow pre-tension is crucial for proper function. After installation, check the bellow's compression and ensure that the rotor's set screws rest on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first few hours of operation, re-check all hose clamps for a secure fit.
