When a ship sinks, every second counts: Plastimo's hydrostatic Hammar release unit automatically deploys the life raft as soon as the ship reaches a water depth of 1.5 to 4 meters – even if no one can intervene. The device meets SOLAS requirements and is suitable for SOLAS-approved life rafts for 6 to 150 people.
Tip: Plan for two Ø 8 mm shackle shackles for mounting – these are not included in the scope of delivery. Observe the 2-year service life after installation and replace the release unit in good time to maintain SOLAS compliance.
