For your NMEA 2000 network to operate cleanly and without interference, it requires a termination resistor at both ends of the backbone. This Philippi Terminator in male M12 format correctly terminates the bus end – compact, ready to plug in, and without additional wiring.
Tip: A correctly terminated backbone with one terminator at each end is a prerequisite for interference-free data exchange throughout the entire NMEA 2000 network. Don't forget the two-pin (female) terminator at the other bus end.
