Ocean Safety's JON-BUOY Recovery Module MK 6 (JBRM6) is the complete MOB solution in a single compact container: Deployed with a single motion, it automatically inflates, immediately providing the casualty with a stable, highly visible safe haven in the water. It simultaneously replaces a lifebuoy, horseshoe, drogue, light, and whistle – thus meeting the requirements of the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations, where normally two separate devices would be required.
Tip: When installing, check whether the optional remote release makes sense for your cockpit layout – especially on single-handed trips or with a small crew, deployment from the helm can be crucial. Plan for the 2-year maintenance directly at the time of purchase and note the date clearly visible on the container.
