Cleanly terminated CAN bus communication starts with the right terminal. The M12 CANOpen Terminal from MG Energy Systems places the termination resistor at the end of your CAN bus string – in a handy M12 plug design (male) and directly compatible with the MG battery system ecosystem.

Tip: Every CAN bus string requires exactly two termination resistors – one at each end of the line. Before commissioning, check the total resistance between CAN-High and CAN-Low with a multimeter: it should be around 60 Ω (two 120-Ω terminations in parallel).
