The classic among natural varnishes – LeTonkinois Vernis combines traditional craftsmanship with genuine protective performance on board. Based on linseed oil, tung oil, and natural resins, it penetrates deep into the wood, seals it permanently, and gives it a rich, warm sheen. Recommended for boats – but also for furniture, children's toys, and all wooden surfaces that demand the highest standards.
Tip: Mix the first coat with 5% LeTonkinois thinner – this allows the varnish to penetrate particularly deep into the wood and creates an optimal adhesive base for all subsequent coats. Intermediate sanding with 180 grit ensures better adhesion and a particularly smooth surface.
