For an even, natural finish, even on repaired or sanded wood surfaces: LeTonkinois oil stain penetrates deep into the wood's pores and reliably balances out color differences without sealing the surface. Particularly proven in boat building, where scarf joints and sanded areas can disturb the wood's appearance.
Tip: Before the first application, sand the wood to a uniform grit (at least 120-grit) and clean it dust-free. After the final stain application, it is essential to seal with LeTonkinois Marine No. 1 or Vernis to ensure durable weather protection outdoors.
