Osmosis blisters on a GRP hull are among the most expensive damage a boat owner can incur – Gelshield 200 offers preventative and reliable protection. This fast-drying 2-component epoxy primer from International Yachtfarben can be applied from 5 °C upwards and builds up a dense protective film below the waterline in five coats. This allows you to apply several coats in a single working day and get back on the water faster.
Tip: With the matching thinner No. 7, the viscosity can be optimally adjusted for rollers or brushes. Plan the coats so that you adhere to the drying time between layers – all 5 coats are feasible on a normal working day.
