Harsh jerks on the mooring line are among the most common causes of broken lines and damaged cleats. The Unimer Inline Snubber integrates directly into your mooring line and gently and reliably absorbs shock loads – such as those caused by the wake of passing ships or gusts of wind.

When choosing the size, pay attention to the actual diameter of your mooring line – a snubber that is too small can slip through, and one that is too large will not sit securely. Regularly check the snubber for cracks or hardening, as rubber ages over time due to UV radiation and saltwater.
