Instead of relying on biocides, it uses a hydrogel micro-layer with extremely low surface energy – organisms simply find no foothold. The result is a smooth, clean hull and a clear conscience towards the ecosystem.

Tip: Fouling-release systems like Silic One work best on moving boats. For boats that are stationary for a very long time, the self-cleaning effect may be limited – in this case, occasional diving or wiping of the hull is worthwhile.
