Osmosis is one of the most feared types of damage to GRP hulls – High Protect II tackles precisely this problem. Hempel's solvent-free two-component epoxy forms a hard, water-repellent protective layer that permanently keeps moisture away from the laminate. Whether for prevention on a new hull or for targeted repair of existing osmosis blisters: High Protect II is the reliable first line of defense below the waterline.
Tip: Make sure the hull is completely dry and brought to minimum temperature (10 °C) before application. The more time you give the substrate to dry, the better the epoxy will adhere and the more effective the protection will be.
