The classic for beautiful wood on board: Epifanes Yacht Varnish Clear is a high-gloss, single-component yacht varnish that seals mahogany, meranti and similar woods with a rich sheen and reliable UV protection. Thanks to its exceptional elasticity, it follows the natural movement of the wood – without cracks, without peeling, even after years in sun and saltwater.

Tip: When building up on bare wood, be sure to follow the thinning schedule – the first coat diluted by 50% so that the varnish penetrates deep into the wood. At least 7 coats will result in a classic, deep high-gloss finish. Lightly sand between coats (recoatable after 24 hours at 18°C) for optimal adhesion.
