Hot exhaust gases do not belong uncooled in the cockpit or engine compartment: The Bowman EC140-4218-4 reliably cools the engine exhaust gases with seawater before they leave the exhaust. Developed for boat engines up to 50 kW, it ensures safe, quiet and material-friendly exhaust operation on board.
Tip: When installing, ensure sufficient seawater flow – a dirty or too weak seawater circuit is the most common cause of overheated exhaust coolers. Regular visual inspection for corrosion and limescale deposits significantly extends the service life.
