Blue Sea Tank Sender – Diesel + Water
No more wear-prone floats and finicky potentiometers: The Blue Sea Tank Sender works contactlessly via ultrasound and precisely reports the fill level of your diesel or water tank to the Vessel Systems Monitor VSM 422. No moving parts, no drift, no signal failure due to mechanical wear.
When installing, please note the following restrictions: The sender must be mounted at least 10 cm (4 inches) away from the tank wall or a baffle and perpendicular to the liquid surface. The tank bottom must not be sloped, and the tank depth must not exceed 81 cm (32 inches). Connect the negative terminal of the sender as directly as possible to the main negative busbar to avoid measurement errors due to potential differences.
