Deine Fragen / Unsere Antworte
- How do I know which service kit fits my engine?
- You need the manufacturer, model name, displacement, and year of manufacture of your engine – the most reliable place to find all of this is on the nameplate or by using the serial number. Some manufacturers offer different kits for different years of manufacture of the same model, as filter dimensions or seal geometries may have changed.
- Is the impeller included in the service kit or do I have to buy it separately?
- That depends on the specific kit: some include the water pump impeller, others do not. Carefully check the scope of delivery in the product description and order the impeller separately if necessary – for most manufacturers, it is part of the recommended annual service.
- Can I use a service kit for older engines that are no longer produced?
- For many classic engine types, there are kits with original or compatible spare parts. The decisive factor is that the technical data match. If you are unsure, consult your engine's workshop manual or contact our team.
- How long do unopened service kits last?
- Seals, O-rings, and filter elements can age prematurely if stored incorrectly. Store the kit in a cool, dry place, protected from UV light, and most components will be usable for several years. Visually inspect rubber parts for cracks or hardening before installation.
