So your autopilot always knows where the rudder is positioned: The GRF 10 reliably detects the current rudder position and transmits it as an analog signal to your autopilot system. It is a prerequisite for existing Garmin autopilots and the GHP Type D hydraulic system to operate precisely and with feedback control.
Before purchasing, check whether your existing autopilot system already has a rudder feedback sensor – the GRF 10 is only required if one is not present.
