It doesn't take up much space in the cockpit and is always within easy reach and ready for use. The tiller locks with a gentle upward pull. The line is then blocked by the friction brake, holding the rudder in place! To regain control, simply lower the tiller. The line is then released, and you can steer as usual without friction thanks to the rudder lock. Fits virtually all tiller-equipped boats. Easy to install. Comes complete.
