Application:

If the wood is grey and/or dirty, first treat it with Star brite Teak Cleaner & Brightener.

Shake the sealer well before use. Use a stirring stick to dissolve any sediment at the bottom of the container.

Ensure the teak is completely dry before applying the sealer. Apply the product with a (foam) brush using short strokes along the wood grain. Even brushstrokes are important for a uniform finish.

Always end the application at a natural separation point such as a seam.

Check the treated areas to ensure there are no brushstrokes or uneven patches. Any uneven or poor application can be corrected by rubbing along the grain with a clean, dry cloth before the sealer dries.

Spilled material or drops should be cleaned immediately with turpentine on a clean cloth.

One coat is sufficient to achieve the desired color and wood grain.
