Simplified ARPA function* (automatic radar image analysis)
The simplified ARPA function helps avoid collisions with other vessels or objects. Up to five targets can be automatically tracked on radar as they enter the monitoring area (up to ten targets with manual presets). Selecting a target displays information such as position, course, speed, CPA, TCPA, bearing, and range at the bottom of the screen. An alert is triggered when the target enters the CPA and TCPA zones.

DSC function* (digital selective calling)

If a connection to a DSC radio station is established and a DSC call is received, the received message is transmitted to the MR-1010RII. Up to 20 DSC messages can be displayed on the marine radar.

AIS Overlay Function* (Automatic Identification System)

When connected to an external AIS device (including Icom IC-M605, M510 AIS, and M506 AIS), up to 100 AIS target symbols can be displayed. Selecting an AIS symbol displays vessel information such as AIS class, MMSI number, vessel name, course, speed, CPA, TCPA, bearing, and distance.

Wide-angle TFT color display

The wide-viewing-angle TFT color display shows bright, clear echoes with 16 intensity levels. Intensity and screen color can be quickly adjusted using the BRILL button (day, night, and user settings). The automatic information fading function enlarges radar echoes to full size.

Multilingual user interface

The MR-1010RII's user interface offers a choice of languages*. The large eight-way cursor key allows for easy operation even with gloves. Many settings can be adjusted intuitively. *

TLL function (target latitude/longitude)*

The MR-1010RII allows you to mark points with symbols and transfer the position data as NMEA-TLL data sets to other NMEA-0183 devices such as an external chartplotter.

The True Trail function only displays objects with trails that are actually moving in relation to your own ship. Static objects are displayed without trails.
