With a heading output rate of 10 Hz and an accuracy of +/- 3 degrees, it is ensured that the chart orientation and the ship's heading line correspond to the true situation – even at speeds suitable for trolling or when the boat is not moving.

Easy assembly and quick calibration
The SteadyCast heading sensor connects quickly and easily to NMEA 2000® via plug and play and calibrates precisely for compatible Garmin chartplotters in two simple steps. Standard calibration for Garmin echoMAP models and other NMEA 2000 displays is also supported. Its 9-axis MEMS technology allows for installation in any orientation away from magnetic interference, and the device is suitable for bilge mounting.
