Garmin GNX 21 marine instrument

The GNX 21 marine instrument features an easy-to-read, inverted display that shows white or colored digits on a black background. This allows you to easily read data on depth, speed, and wind, as well as more than 50 marine and vessel parameters. The glare-free, laminated glass display offers excellent readability both day and night, and the high-contrast digits are scalable down to 36 mm.

The GNX 21 is the first glass composite marine instrument to combine direct-drive LCD segments with a dot-matrix display for graphical information. With its low power consumption of 25 mA at 350 mW without backlighting or 400 mW with medium backlighting, it is ideal for sailors and provides valuable information for cruising and fishing. Fully customizable user profiles display wind, depth, and speed data. The GNX 21 also features an auto-page-turn function, meaning data pages are displayed automatically in sequence, eliminating the need to press any buttons. The unit can be mounted using the included flush-mount bracket or an optional low-profile bracket, ensuring you don't have to compromise on the ultimate, personalized glass cockpit look.

Easy-to-read display:
The unique, high-contrast hybrid display shows large, easily readable digits that scale up to 36 mm. It offers excellent clarity in direct sunlight, at dusk, or at night. Additional details and/or graphic information can be displayed in the dot-matrix area.

Customizable colored digits
Choose from 7 different background colors, or create your own color for optimal readability.
Customizable User Profiles: Thanks to fully customizable user profiles, you can choose from 5 different display configurations for sailboats or motorboats: one, two, and three functions, as well as display and graph modes for showing data on wind, depth, and speed. Or customize the pages to show the most important marine and vessel data.

Auto-side change
Activate the automatic page change, set how long each page is displayed, and you'll receive information without having to press any buttons.

Low power consumption
This device is perfect for skippers who want to be away for extended periods without having to recharge batteries with an engine or generator. The GNX 21 consumes only 25 mA at 350 mW during the day without backlighting, and only 400 mW at night with medium backlighting.

NMEA® 2000
Monitor over 50 marine and vessel parameters, such as GPS speed, water depth, wind direction, and wind speed, via the NMEA 2000 bus. An optional 7-pin, bare-wire network/data cable allows you to integrate an NMEA 0183 device.
