Ensure supply and comfort on board
Supply and comfort on board depend on suitable connections, material compatibility, and the correct flow rate.
For drinking water products, you should look for appropriate approvals. For gas, safety comes first.
This keeps the system sealed, clean, and reliable.
Discover variants, materials, and designs that are built for maritime use. This way, you'll find equipment that remains reliable on board – season after season.

Deine Fragen / Unsere Antworte
- How often should I replace the impeller of my raw water pump?
- The common recommendation is to replace it once per season or annually. It is particularly critical if the pump has been dry over winter, as the rubber vanes can then retain deformation and tear during the next operation.
- How do I know which impeller fits my pump?
- The manufacturer and model number of the pump, usually found on the pump housing, are decisive. The outer diameter, hub diameter, shaft diameter, and number of vanes must match exactly. When in doubt, a direct comparison with the old, removed impeller will help.
- What happens if impeller vanes break off and remain in the cooling circuit?
- Fragments can clog heat exchangers, lines, or thermostats and lead to overheating. After an impeller breaks, you should therefore always check the entire cooling circuit and remove all residues before restarting the engine.
- May I install the impeller without lubricant?
- No, that's not a good idea. A light application of Vaseline or pump grease not only facilitates insertion into the housing but also protects the impeller during the first seconds of operation until water is drawn in. Dry running destroys the impeller very quickly.
