Star Brite Salt Off Salt Remover Concentrate 946ml

Characteristics:

• Removes salt deposits from all boat surfaces.
• Can be used for flushing outboard motors and Z-drive motors.
• Leaves a protective film against further salt deposits.

Directions:

To remove salt deposits from external boat surfaces, trailers, diving equipment, fishing rods and reels: Fill the dispenser cup of the Salt Off applicator with Salt Off concentrate. Connect one end of the applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a spray gun. The black button on the applicator must be set to "On" and the blue button to "Mixture".

Thoroughly dampen all surfaces to be treated and allow the Salt Off to work for 5 to 10 minutes. If necessary, treat stubborn deposits with a brush. Rinse with clean water and allow treated surfaces to air dry.

For immersion treatment: Dissolve 60 to 120 ml of Salt Off concentrate per 4 liters of water. Immerse the items to be treated for several minutes, rinse with fresh water, and allow to air dry. For flushing inboard and outboard motors: Fill a dispenser cup with Salt Off concentrate. Connect one end of the applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a flushing nozzle suitable for the motor. The black button on the applicator must be set to "On" and the blue button to "Water only".

Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Once operating temperature is reached, switch off the engine, turn the blue knob to "Mixture," and verify that the cleaning solution is flowing through. Restart the engine and run it until the dispenser cup is empty and the product is used up. The Salt Off process creates a PTFE coating that protects the engine against further rust and corrosion.

To refill the Salt Off container (660 ml spray bottle), add 30 ml of Salt Off concentrate to an empty bottle and fill completely with water. Note: Do not store Salt Off in the applicator.
