An accidentally switched-off main switch or a tripped fuse can destroy your alternator in a fraction of a second – the ProProtect A prevents exactly that. It absorbs the dangerous voltage spike and thus protects the alternator from voltage flashover. Inexpensive insurance for one of the most expensive components on board.

Tip: Even with existing battery-to-battery chargers or charge distributors, the ProProtect A should remain installed directly on the alternator – it protects the device itself, not just the downstream electronics.
