Sterling Relay ProLatch R
The Pro Latch R can be used as a starter battery protection relay. Devices that discharge the battery are connected to the Pro Latch R's output. When the voltage falls below a pre-programmed value (standard 12.4V/24.8V), the relay switches off. The voltage trend triggers the disconnection. This ensures that enough energy remains in the battery to start the engine.
For auxiliary batteries: As with the starter battery, the auxiliary battery is also disconnected from the loads. However, the voltage at which the battery is switched off is lower (12V/24V). Disconnecting the batteries from the loads ensures that the battery is not deep-discharged and thus damaged. All switching voltages are adjustable. Voltages between 10.4V/20.8V and 14.7V/29.4V are programmable.
