Deine Fragen / Unsere Antworte
- Which hoses can I use for drinking water on board?
- Only hoses with drinking water approval - for example, according to KTW or DVGW. Conventional industrial hoses can release plasticizers or other substances into the water. The approval is indicated on the hose or in the product data.
- How often do I have to replace gas hoses on board?
- Gas hoses have an imprinted expiration date, which you should definitely adhere to - usually the service life is several years. Visible cracks, hardenings, or crimps are a reason for immediate replacement, regardless of the date.
- My pressure water pump runs continuously – what's the reason?
- This usually indicates a leaky connection, a defective check valve, or a damaged connection in the piping system. The pump tries to compensate for the pressure drop. Systematically check all connections and fittings for moisture.
- Can I use the same fittings for gas and water?
- No. Gas and water fittings are designed for different pressures, media, and approvals and are not interchangeable. Always check the product specifications and the respective approval before installing a fitting.
