Tip: For on-board systems with inverters or Victron chargers, Victron recommends the VE.Bus BMS. In smaller, purely DC installations with an alternator or solar charge controller, the Smart BMS CL 12/100 or the BMS 12/200 is the right choice. An external BMS is absolutely essential for the operation of this battery – plan for it right away.
