The P4E is Vetus' proven 4-blade fixed-pitch propeller for classic motor yacht and motor sailer propulsion. With a 21″ diameter and 14″ pitch, it efficiently harnesses the thrust of your propulsion system – and the fourth blade ensures quiet, low-vibration operation.
Before installation, check that the shaft taper and keyway are clean, degreased, and free of corrosion. Tighten the shaft nut to the torque recommended by the boat builder and secure it with a castle nut or shaft lock – this ensures the propeller is free of play and can be easily removed during the next shipyard visit.
