Precise steering starts at the pump: The Vetus HTP42 is a proven hydraulic steering pump for boat building, which reliably prevents unwanted backward rotation of the steering wheel thanks to its integrated check valve. With its robust construction and the standardized ¾" shaft with a 1:12 taper, it fits a variety of common steering wheels on board.

Tip: When installing, make sure that all pressure lines are filled and bled absolutely free of air – only then will the steering system react precisely and without pressure points.
