The rubber guide on the inside ensures smooth, low-maintenance operation – with the cooling water providing lubrication.

Tip: When pressing the brass casing into the stern tube, ensure an exact fit and sufficient cooling. If saltwater is used as a lubricant, regularly check the rubber guide for wear – especially after grounding.
